Responsibilities:1. Provide leadership in the trial, debugging and acceptance of tooling that are acceptable for production prior to the release for mass production.2. Day-to day supports to the production to solve process/Quality problems created by malfunction of tooling.3. Periodically review, audit and update the Tooling Preventive Maintenance Work Instruction and Maintenance Programme.4. Train tooling technician on operating procedure, setting and maintenance of the tooling.5. Provide leadership in major tooling repairing, restoring and improvement.6. Work closely with Molding, Quality and Program Management to analyze and solve problems associated with the tooling.7. Identify spare parts and set-up stock holding plan.8. Organize and file Instruction Manual / Literature; tool acceptance protocol; and tool drawing9. Work on special projects as assigned by Operations Manager.Qualification:1. Degree in Engineering, minimum 3 years experiences in plastic industry environment with multi-national company will be advantageous.2. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.3. Matured, resourceful, meticulous to details and possess strong analytical abilities and drive.4. Strong communication and organizational skills, and capability in self –managing projects.5. Familiarity with SPC methodologies desired.6. English written and oral communication skill.7. Well-versed with office software, Auto-CAD / proE / UG preferred.
